Escape the ‘CHILLY’ Concrete Trails of life March 2012 with more than one AQR Adventure kicking off in the Algarve. Discover the tranquil village of Alte, a hidden treasure pot of trails that not many mountain bikers know about. There are a wide range of trails from silky smooth to rocky single track and double track. The trails are mostly undulating and vary as AQR take you to different areas across this part of the Algarve. Like all AQR adventures you will be at one with the trail and not meet another biking soul, let alone any walkers...just a farmer or two and the occasional goat. Please note that the trails are cross country, and although there are some great descents and fun flowy single track, this is not down-hill territory and a cross country trail bike is recommended.
